We view these suppliers as an extension of our business and strive to work only with companies that reflect our values.
Shipping Industry Standards
Caleres participates in and helps lead industry-wide programs that advance environmental and social responsibility in the supply chain. We are especially proud of our work with the Footwear Distributors and Retailers of America (FDRA) and our contributions to its Shoe Waste Program and Responsible Factory Program.
Caleres joined Leather Working Group to support more responsible leather manufacturing.
2025 Supply Chain Ambitions
We are making progress toward ambitious environmental social governance targets across our supply chain. By 2025 we commit that:
- 100% of our strategic factories will comply with our heightened labor standards, including fair wage programs and social working standards.
- 100% of our strategic leather suppliers will be Leather Working Group (LWG) Gold or Silver certified.
- 100% of our strategic factories will contribute to waste reduction initiatives and achieve 50% reduction.
